We booked our train tickets together and realised that if we didn't get the job then we would have spent a lot of money on a pretty unsuccessful trip to London. We stayed in the Fulham travel lodge as it was pretty cheap (£20 each ).
So on Thursday 25th of September we headed to London on the train. I think we annoyed pretty much everyone on the train because we were so excited and couldn't stop talking about all the places we would go and all the things we would do IF we got in. Plus we kept moving around the train to different seats so that we could all sit together.
We eventually arrived in London at about 4.30pm and we then got the tube to Fulham . (handy tip here... I downloaded an app on my phone so that we could find which tube route to take it saved us a lot of trouble over the two days!!! and it was free!!) We got to the travel lodge and it was as you would expect for £20 but it would do for the one night. We went out for dinner and drinks and could hardly sleep because we were so excited / scared we wouldn't wake up in time. Se got up at about 6 am i think and got ready and then we headed to a Starbucks near Disney HQ to meet up with all the other applicants. That was great because when it was time to leave we just followed everyone else.
After getting slightly confused and lost we eventually marched into the right building , we looked like the cast of the apprentice ; so many of us walking in a group all in suits etc. We then watched another presentation which gave us a bit more info and was delivered by the extremely enthusiastic Disney Reps. We were then once again split into groups and luckily me and my two friends were all in the same 1st group ~(i say luckily but we had actually emailed to ask if we could get an early slot as we had a train to catch that evening). So as some people had to go off and kill some time we headed to our interviews.
We sat in the same room as the interviews which was really weird , you could pretty much hear all three different interviews going on !! The interviews were really quick ( or they seemed to be) and again it was pretty relaxed but still nerve racking. They asked us about the roles we had ticked and why we wanted to do them and what experience we had . It seemed to be over so quick and such a short amount of time to sell yourself in.
That was it , it was done, out of our hands!! So me and my friends went shopping in Camden and Oxford street and then it was time to catch our train to Edinburgh. We had a week up to two weeks to wait and find out cut to me checking my emails every second of the day!!
